AFSET Library | Teaching is examination-oriented based on student teacher interaction and “ stude- nts interacting with knowledge / information resource centre”. A well-equipped and well-managed library is the foundation of a modern educational Institute. A Library has the same function in any educational institution as the heart in the body. It circulates the knowledge and information through body of the Institute. The AFSET Library is the heart of the Institute to support all educati- onal activities in the field of Engineering and Applied Sciences. It has a rich collection of more than 18,500 technical books of Engineering & Applied Sciences, Thesis and Research reports etc., which is ever increasing in view of expansion of courses and number of enrolling students. The Library has a big reading hall with a support of more than 1000 books for self-study. Library provides an Open Access System to all its members. Students directly access their desired books from the shelves and borrow desired books from the Circulation Desk for home reading. At a time, a student can get upto 11 books issued from library. In addition to above, an exhaustive list of journals, magazines and leading national and regional newspapers are also subscribed
