Prof. (Lt. Col) Anil Nigam

A telecom professional with more than 32 years of experience in Management of Telecom projects and imparting Telecom related Training and Education. He has a unique distinction of being part of the core group for fielding a static Packet Switching Network

(ASCON) of National Importance and having served with the Mobile Area Grid Mobile Communication networks. He has intensive work experience in telecom operations which includes planning and management of Radio Relay, UHF, VHF and HF, Radio Systems, Satellites, Landlines, Packet switching networks, various multiplexing systems, various types of Exchanges and other diverse media.

After working as Commissioned Officer with Corps of Signals, Indian Army for more than 20 years he headed telecom operations in Rajasthan for PUNWIRE as Regional Manager for about three years before switching over to teaching profession. He was Associate professor with prestigious Nirma University of Science and Technology, Ahmedabad for over five years and has served with Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Gurgaon for over three years before joining AFSET.
