Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is the largest department of the
Institute. It produces high quality engineers, competent enough to meet the
demand of various industries. Department has the following well established
laboratories which make the students familiar with various practical aspects
related to Mechanical Engineering.
In addition to performing experiments as
required by regular curricula the students use the labs for project work
through the process of self learning.The department has a well established
workshop consisting of Machine Shop, Carpentory Shop, Sheet Metal Shop,
Foundry Shop, Fitting Shop, Welding Shop & Pattern Making Shop. Final
year students take the help of workshop to complete the major project.
Electrical
& Electronic Engineering 
The Need of technical manpower in the area of Electrical Energy-in respect
of its generation, transmission, distribution and control and also in
respect of design and manufacture of equipment for above activities has
always been recognized. The college has embarked upon this program in
Electrical and Electronics Engineering department. The lab facilities in
Basic Electronics and Electrical Technology are available. The labs in
Electrical Machines, Controls, Drive & Power Electronics have been
developed.
Mechanical &
Automation Engineering
Automation reduces manpower, eliminates human errors, improves product
quality, achieves product consistency, provides hygienic handling and
increases productivity among many other benefits.
The aim of the department is to promote convergence of the knowledge
information, technology and skills in the field of Mechanical.
