Highly qualified and experienced staff in Applied Science and Humanities Department help in kindling the inherent inquisitiveness dormant in the young Minds of first year students :

It is believed at AFSET that Science forms the foundation of all engineering practices and oral and written communication enhance performance of engineers. The students are encouraged.

It generates interest in them at an early stage to learn and understand the principles of Engineering and Applied Science. They also develop skills of communication with peers, seniors and teachers.

The courses in Applied Science are supported by two well equipped Labs:

1. Applied Physics Lab
2. Applied Chemistry Lab

The senior faculty members are usually taking classes of 1st year students so that the basic concept may be made strong.

A Language lab helps them improve skills of communication
