Talk of the DignitariesMr. Jawad Ahmad Siddiqui, Chairman, AFSET We all are living in an era of Computer & Information Technology. It is well known that the progress of any country is linked to its establishment. Computer Science and Information Technology is now days exploring the new dimension of the world to fulfill the requirement of “Right Information at the Right Place on the Right Time. It is the need to explore the emerging trends in computer technology with the presence of expert and eminent people of the field.
Our objective is to organize a conference of high academic standards and to recommend some effective technical know-how for the actual engineering situations. The Object of this conference is to provide a forum for discussing the development, implementation, use and application of emerging technologies.
These are technologies which have not yet developed a mature set of researchers, practitioners, or a community of practice. This conference has been proposed with an aim to help all the faculty members as well as the building engineers/scientists to upgrade their knowledge and enhanced their confidence in interacting with experts of the field. The conference will provide the participants an opportunity for developing interaction with academia from other institutes of high academic standards, and people from renowned industries. This eventually will open opportunities to collaborate with other universities and institutes, and also to foster synergic partnership between industry & engineering education institutions and other agencies.
Dr. Shamim Ahmad, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Hamdard University, New Delhi He threw light on the emerging trends in computer science and technology. His talk was primarily about manet systems. Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) has become an increasingly active research area with a plethora of work in ad-hoc routing, media access, and protocols, etc. However, much of the effort so far has been in simulation with only a few systems that have ever been implemented and none that we know have gone beyond field trial to regular use. One reason is the high complexity involved in implementing and testing actual ad-hoc networks, and the lack of software tools for doing so. Also he talked about plastic money, transactions, advancements and threats. The Conclusion was that technology may advance at immense speed but threat arrive at higher speed. Dr. Sujit Singh, Chairman Digitech Technology New Delhi He gave very knowledgeable light on the emerging trends in computer science and technology. His talk was primarily about manet systems. He also stressed that we Indians are advancing only in software’s but as far as hardware is concerned we are still largely dependent on other countries for the development. This is the area of concern and we need to conquer this area as well.
Dr. Anita Goyal, HOD, Computer Dept. Dayal Singh College New Delhi She briefly discussed various emerging trends in the field of computer science and technology. Then the main focus of her talk was on a topic named Cloud .Cloud is basically a network infrastructure. It refers to wide area networks (WANs) such as the Internet, but can also be used to depict local networks (LANs). A cloud-like symbol in a network diagram is used to reduce an entire communications network into points of entry and exit. Clouds are drawn when the components within the network are not material to the illustration. Inside the cloud, there may be any number of routers, switches, trunks and other devices that make up the network infrastructure. Sanjay Bhagat, Project Manager , HCL, Noida He gave very important talk on the technological improvements around the world. The main focus of his talk was the gap between industry requirements and products of engineering colleges. So he emphasized the need of improving this with the use of new technologies and this knowledge being given to the students to stand ahead in the industry.
