Department of Computer Science and Technology organized 2nd National Conference on“Emerging Trends in Computer Science & Information Technology”April 18, 2009
Conference ReportABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Our objective was to organize a conference of high academic standards and to recommend some effective technical know-how for the actual engineering situations. The Object of this conference was to provide a forum for discussing the development, implementation, use and application of emerging technologies. These are technologies which have not yet developed a mature set of researchers, practitioners, or a community of practice. This conference has been proposed with an aim to help all the faculty members as well as the building engineers/scientists to upgrade their knowledge and enhanced their confidence in interacting with experts of the field. The conference provided the participants an opportunity for developing interaction with academia from other institutes of high academic standards, and people from renowned industries. This eventually will open opportunities to collaborate with other universities and institutes, and also to foster synergic partnership between industry & engineering education institutions and other agencies. 83 papers were received, out of which review committees selected only 38 papers for the publication. Nearly 150 participants participated in the conference and 31 papers were presented in the conference.
